June Haddock Expedition
The haddock fishing has been very good. It almost seems it is getting better. We had a great crew from middle state New York. Weather cooperated nicely. We made the short run to the haddock hill where we drift across. Not more than 3 minutes went by - fish on 23" haddock and the pace kept on. We had a laugh or two when a sculpin came over - ugly. Then a mud hake or two, they thought they looked like catfish. Had a great day, Anita and her husband had a super day. There lifelong camping friend did equally as well.
The highlight of the trip was getting to see a humpback whale breech multiple times. This is a sight you don't often see.
Thank you for a great trip.
